1. 人1 suggest that 人2 (should) VR. Ex. Nami suggested that Luffy stop sailing for two days. I suggested that you read more books. 2. Nami suggested stopping sailing for two days. I suggested reading more books. 3.人 suggest N(idea). Ex. Chopper suggests a plan to recover faster. Zoro suggests a great bar to stay in for a while and relax ourselves. 4.人1 suggest to 人2 that he/she/they (should) VR. Ex. Nami suggested to Luffy that he stop sailing for two days. 5.人1 suggest to 人2 to V.Ex. Nami suggested to Luffy to stop sailing for two days. ******千萬不可以直接說 suggest sb to do sth!!!!!!!! Ex. Teacher Rosa advises her students to use/suggests her students to use the dictionary often. 2) advise (sb) + 子句;suggest (to sb) + 子句: Ex. Beryl advised Gloria that her room (should) be cleaned. Ex. Beryl suggested to Gloria that she (should) eat less meat. Listen to many, speak to a few. and accept each individual's censure, but to retain your final decision. -- Shakespeare.

句型1:S1 + V(建堅要命規) + (that) + S2 (should) + VR. 建議:suggest/propose/move/counsel/advise/recommend 堅持:insist/urge/maintain/hold/persist 要求:require/request/demand/ask 命令:order/command 規定:stipulate/rule 在這類的句型裡,S2應該做某事而沒有做,省略了should,不論S2是否為第三人稱單數, 也不論該事發生在現在或過去,他該做的行為都必須使用原形動詞來呈現,不須、也不能 加s或ed。 Ex. Nami suggested that Luffy stop sailing for two days. The students proposed that everyone bring a new book. 2:It is + adj. + that + S + (should) + VR. 重要的:important, imperative, vital, crucial, critical, pivotal 迫切的:urgent 必要的:essential, necessary, indispensable Ex. It is essential that the letters be replied immediately. Never let the urgent crowd out the important. 許多學生常有疑惑:made of和made from到底有何不同?
The chair is made of wood. The desk is made of marble. The bread is made from flour. The wine is made from grapes這酒是由葡萄製成的。 You don't have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.---Zig Ziglar(美國著名勵志作家及演說家) 你不需要很棒才開始,但為了成為很棒的人,你一定得開始。
